Lois coeurdeuil et Alice Martinez sont heureux de vous présenter leur nouveau projet en quartet « Josephine & Django  » 

 

Based on an original idea by Alice Martinez, bringing together musicians with a real desire to share their music for several years now. Both busy with their individual projects Alice Martinez with "les Shoeshiners" & « Windows » and Loïs swings with "Cesar swings" & "Django Revisited" of which they are both ledear.

It was during an improvised concert  that the opportunity finally presented itself. No doubt, the alchemy worked well on the group. Inspiring with brilliance Alice qui proposes this project to Loïs, Josephine launched in fall 2018.

Original arrangements adapt the music of Josephine Baker to make her travel in the gypsy universe of Django Reinhardt, Alice offers us her interpretation in chanson francaise, lyrics she poses on the most beautiful melodies of Django. Un moment de partage extraordinaire offert avec générosité par ses musiciens épicuriens qui laissent une grande place à l'improvisation à each of their concert.

An amazing project , full of freshness where this group of friends decided to make us vibrate with  delight, poetry and authenticity.
